when dreams come true - Japan trip - 11/12-18/12
10:49 pmi guess its pretty obvious tat i m back?? =) its been a week. haha time flies i guess.... =) so lets start from the beginning.
day 1 - 12/12
arrived at Tokyo around 7.10am, ground temp then was 2 deg! hahaha had to clear customs and all... took so lonG! XD and had to place my fingers on the machine to take my pic~ the new custom clearance requirement thing! *zzz* anyways, by the time we could get out was around 7.50am. <<--- all time is japan time! which is GMT +9, an hour ahead of local singapore. we had to take limousine bus to our hotel, Shinjuku Washington, at Shinjuku of cos =) the next bus was at 8.10! so it was juz right~ the tickets were pretty ex. 3000 yen per person! its like almost 50 sgd! XD since i didnt get much sleep on the plane, *cos my mom kept rocking my chair from behinD! i got irritated btw* hahaha~ slept for like 30 mins. the trip on the bus only took like 45 mins~ =) pretty fast! reached the hotel really early. check-in was only at 2pm. so we left our luggage there and took a walk around shinjuku~ went to the JR station there to ask the information centre for directions! to go disney n yokohama~ =))) the girl at the counter could speak really really good eng, but SHE WASNT EVEN SURE HOW TO GO!!!!! > < hahahahahaha~ so farnie. but we got many brochues that told us the way. the place was super crowded. i realise after a few days later that it can take up to 10 mins to walk from the entrace to the correct platform! and each platform line can have up to 3-4 different trains going different places! yes~ its TAT big... so after that we went to Takashimaya~! XD super big building and all the brands were staring at us. not cheap! but ya. the services were good. once u go in and view the stuffs, u get sales people saying "irrashaimase, dozo gurande kudasai" haha. the lady at mikimoto bowed like 90 deg 3 times although we didnt buy anything! it was so freaking scary~!!! ooo did i tell u??? at around 10am u still see like TONNES of people on the street going for work and stuffs??? XD haha. and u see sch students at around 11am!!! freaky~ XD so ya... we went HMV there~~~ GUESS WAD!!! BOUGHT ALOT OF DISCS LA!!! LIKE FREAK CHEAP??? hahaha minus all the import fees... really = got the disc for garcia~ ended up getting a copy for myself. then my sis was like stuffing her hands with discs too! XD lives and albums alike. they didnt have Dolly's Jewel's Drip! =( sadds. cos i couldnt find 12012, so i asked the staff in eng. he went... "har?" hahaha! then i said it in jap... ichi ni zero ichi ni. he looked at me then counted his fingers "ichi ni... ah! 12..0..12?" -Yes 12012- "chotto matte ne." =)))) ya thats how i got it~ the amount we spent there would be close to saving 200 sgd if we bought it from singapore not to mention.. NO FIRST PRESS! XD next stop was kinokunya~ XD u can say we juz stocked the mags for dec n jan!!! each mag was like close to 10-12 dollars cheaper!!! ZOMG~! but our bags got REALLY heavy! ooo~ the temp was around 8 deg! was so cooling! =) then we decided to take a break and have lunch.was pretty simple. but not cheap. most of the cafes and restaurants cost like 800-1.5k yen? which is like 10+++ per person? for a meal~ ya. settled for a italian one. > < my mom was hungry! i wasnt though =( it was nice food~ but i almost puked it out! hahahaha too full and wasnt feel well in my tummy! so okay~ we walked back and checked-in~ the lady was nice. she said since we were staying for like 6 days she'd give us a bigger room! so we got the corner one =) 13th floor~ so unlucky hor? XD but okay la ^^ yups. we took a nap! cos all of us were super tired from NO sleep. and ya woke up around an hour later to go for ikebukuro. walked back to the JR *japan railway* station~ was about a few stops. cant rmb exactly how many~ hahaha but ya~ was a few. another thing! it was around like 4pm there? but the sun was setting already!!!! can u believe it! and it got colder. > < walked through the crowded streets and saw a few really nice stuffs. got a guitar shop!!!! they were selling lovely guits for lilke 10k-24k which is around 100-300 sing? cheap la!!! then walked to HMV again to ask for my DOlly album~ "Nai desu." =(( walking around sunshine city. streets were crowded. could see a few visual looking people with guitars and bass on their backs as they walked around. haha pretty cool. =) then the mall was very uncrowded! XD they had GAP there too~ cool la~ the clothes u can get for like 20 sgd??? like HELLO!!! GAP!!!! 20 sgd??? XD walked over to a place opp of sunshine city. it was a whole street of manga shops! one of it was a close to 10 storey building all manga n cosplay and anime! > < ya~ they had yaoi... i saw~!!! XD hahaha anyways... guess wad!!!! I FOUND BRAND-X!!!! the shop~!!! it was like underground basement. pretty small but we went in. cos the door outside had an A9 poster! so my sister got curious. tat was before i realise it was BRand-x~! the shop was heaven!!! really~! everywhere was visual kei!! <3333 then pasted on the walls were posters! right up to the ceiling.we had to stare up to see them! they were ALL signed!!! > < AhhS~ > < the counter guy was like "Dolly?? What u looking for?" -Jewel's Drip- "ah! sore wa Sold Out desu." hahaha~ > < i almost cried! XD *kidding* hahaha went to the anime shops and stared at their cosplay sets!!! so cool~ =) then went back to sunshine city to shoP! XD wasnt really in a mood for shopping then! but ya~ got a top??? =)) pretty formal like. wasnt cheap~ but it was nice =) haaha my sis got one too. really hard to communicate if u dun understand jap there. u speak to them in eng they reply to u in jap... hahaha! good thing we could pick up most of the words~! my mom bought multiple tops! and my sis got a cute jumper~ the sales people so farnie~ they were like "KAWAII!!!" to everything XD so much so that u duno if its real or not! but ya~ =))) hahaha went back to shinjuku around 9? cos they close at 9~9.30! bought starbucks back~ and cupnoodles from the conbini at the 1st floor of our hotel =) was nice!!!!!! the cupnooodles tat is. was pretty cooling weather =) really like it! but i dun understand how the jap girls can wear like super mini skirts with below knee socks and shoes and a blazer over their school uniform! cold la! XD the girls there really pretty =) of cos there r exceptionals. but most of them are good lookin. =)

Day 2 - 13/12
DISNEY!!!!! went disney~!!! XD it was... CROWDED~ yesh on a normal THURSDAY~ it was crowded =))) ALOT ALOT ALOT of high school students! hahaha my mom was making fun of how the school boys were all having that same ugly haircut! like those close to botak kinda crew cut~ wahahaha so farnie. =))) hmMm tried out most of their games. wasnt much. cos we only went disney land n not disney sea <-- for next time! anyways, the trip there was pretty long!!!! =))) hmMm ya slept half the way there! > < had to change JRs at Tokyo StatioN~ yesh. alot of people were going too la. =)) cold cold weather then play games walk walk. =))) oOO! they actually give away lunch boxes when u buy those kiddy meals? XD super nice! good food too! hot choc~ *yums* ^^ hmMM~ wasnt anything much la. their souvenirs were pretty ex!!! but i bought a few back =))) including a ear muffler thing!!! SUPER KAWAII!!!!!!!!! ^^ heehee. then ermMM i bought a double bracelet also. its those couple thing. =))) the japanese all so rich la! they can buy like BAGS AND BAGS of stuffs!!! > < and i saw someting!!! the jap guys actually asked their gfs to buy for them!!! wahahahaha! so UN-MANLY! not all la =) but i got see a few. those is QIAN DA TYPE! so Zzzz one. the thing is the girl doesnt mind, but after buying for the guy the guy can like dun appreciate type! WTF LA! then ermM oOO!! i saw this couple!!! we were queuing for the haunted house~! then its a SUPER SUPER long queue. got this couple way behind us. so like we saw them! wad caught our eyes was the guy's hair!!! it was pINK~!!!! ^^ haahahahaha my mom was like "eh, looks like ur those type of guys lehs" wahahaha~ sadd he attached! he's skinny toO~! > < Nyahs~ there was this 4D theatre thing =) it was super cooL!!! the effects were so real! when we wear the glasses and see the thing flying at us LOL i really shut my eyes la! then got one part is the rats running pass our legs! hahaha i screamed and lifted my feet cos REALLY GOT THE FEELING MA! farnie~ ^^ so the day ended with FIREWORKS!!!!! the parades and all were nice~ =) Ooo~ the best part of the day!!! JAP GUYS ARE SO G@Y!!! wahahaha they wear the kawaii hats too! XD esp PINK ones~ OMG~ XD farnie. then some is the gf ask them wear then they also wear wahahahaha so cute~ =))) u wont see things like tat happen in singapore. the thing is they can wear it like so proudly somemore!!! XD hahaha cooL. went back around 9.30??? ya.. wasnt too crowded but was a long way back!!! > < so ya. long long journey! thus ends day 2!
Day 3 - 14/12
Ahh~ Friday we went yokohama!!! intened to go to the sea paradise. which ALICE NINE went!!! ^^ we kinda got lost~ in the sense that we didnt know which line to take so we had to ask for directions again. =) it was okay but the fare was DARN ex! around 12 plus???? > < OMG~ hahaha ooo we were to change train from yokohama station ya? then we were looking at the board of stations. suddenly this man, like around 50++? in a suit came to us and asked where we going! wahahaha we said sea paradise and he was like telling us how to go there. we said okay. then the weirdest part was he spoke in jap! and we couldnt catch a shit of wad he was saying! too chim~!!! > < so ya... we nodded and tried to converse in eng. his eng was not good but sort of can understand. we took the same train then alighted at the same stop? he told us to sit on the train n stuffs then ask where we from. we said Singapore. he said "Ah? Singapore.. tomorrow i going canada, transit at singapore." haha then we were like... ermm okay.... "i can read english but cannot speak well." then okay... hahaha so weird! i couldnt understand y this guy approached us! but he was helpful in the sense that ya we knew where we were going! ^^ then after changing to the monorail, we REACHED THE STATION! then something didnt feel right.... IT WAS EMPTY!!!! > < like little people??? hahaha. we walked down and all... bUT NOT ALOT OF PEOPLE! ended up my sis say.. let's juz go to chinatown~ wahahahaha she didnt like the fact it wasnt crowded. means something's not right! then u gotta pay for each entry to the aquariums... so it was pretty ex =) ended up we took the monorail and jr back to chinatown.... XD hahahaha had a simple lunch... chinese food~ > < hai nan ji fan was 12 bucks!!! > < hahahaha so we ate some simple noodle sort =))) wasnt ex. was delicious thou ^^ and ermM walked around. nothing much really. juz shops! mainly restaurants. found the bubbletea shop and the dragon head!!! <--- all alice nine's fault. hahaha but didnt have the bubble tea! cos too full le =((( sadds ya??? > < hahaha~ then we decided to go to the famous yokohama ferris wheel~ cosmo world XD hahaha ya... walked to the place. my sister was like lets go here n there and we started pointing at buildings where the scenes from Wei Yi Ai - Hitotsu no Koi took place!!! hahahahahaha so lame la we all =))) but its much colder at Yokohama, i think its the sea wind n all. =) so ya... walked around the shopping area~ nothing much to buy la. but XD while walking out my e.sis spotted something! hahaha it was a SIGNATURED CARD FROM W-INDS!!! it was a ice-cream crepes shop~ XD so of cos... ya... we BOUGHT THEIR STUFFS LA!!! n we walked out... INTO THE COLD WITH ICE-CREAM N SMOOTHIE in hand~ XD <-- i had the smoothie. ^^ hmMM cold cold~ hahaha the old man waitin at the traffic light with us thought we were crazy cos we were talking n laughing pretty loudly.. XD we went to the bridge end... was COLD COLD COLD! really. my hands went numb. had to wear gloves... it didnt work!!!! hahaha teeth were chattering! > < died i tell u... hahaha but it was funny. a very good experience!! =))) walked to the ferris wheel. they had a theme park there. was only like 4 plus? the sky was darkening!!!! ^^ took a ride on the ferris wheel =) another desire fulfilled! hahaha lovely view. could see alot of things right at the top~ =))) this is wad i call romantic! XD we went back early... that was after walking through many many shops! around 7 to 8 like that =) cos was a long way back afterall... =))) was super drained! duno y. sleep for 6-8 hrs also like not enuff!! > < could be weather too good. hahaha! even the people around us said it was cold at yokohama~ ^^ so ya... ends day 3! wow.. so fast... day 4 already??? XD will continue it TML! ^^

day 4 - 15/12
so i FINALLY reached SATURDAY~ hahahahha! went Ginza early in the morning. n it was CROWDED! full i tell u XD hmmm they actually have police and all blocking the roads so that people can walk everywhere! cool right??? i doubt u can do things like that in orchard road. but it'll be cool if they can! so people dun have to squeeze to cross the paths when u step out of the TRAIN on weekends~~~~ NOR GET HORNED AT WHEN U CROSS THE ROAD! esp at the station to borders part... > < XD okok so back to Ginza.... well of cos i didnt get anything there! did many people watching. u can see many ladies in the traditional kimono garb thing. =) super cooL~ rich tai tais... > < hahaha my sister n mom walked into mikimoto... the lady was like asking my sis... "u like disney??" hahahha~ she had disney all over her tat day u see XD anyways i think the lady thought my sis wouldnt buy anything or juz buy the cheapest thing there > < *dies* haha~ cos... my sis looks so young n all. but oh well... they took a while!!~ *long while* hahaha and my mom finally decided on a 18k gold necklace shaped of a leaf with a pearl on it~~~ <3 its lovely... really =)) price?? heh heh~ i'd keep quiet at that. doesnt need to rmb such a minor issue. so were like going out... <--- its the same! they give u the bag and all when u step out~ and bow like a million times!!! ^^ hahaha.. so we walked along the streets~ many roads~~~~~ my mom rejected getting something from tiffany n co. haha~ she said something like "Its only Tifanny" wahahahaha~ felt like... XD my sis n me were both staring at each other. there are times when even ur parents get spoilt =) anyways~ my sister walked into Burberry next~ <-- had to ask for directions inside a mall~ hahaha! the farniest part is they all kept directing us to different burberry sections in the SAME building!!!!!! was ROFL~ hahahaha. finally someone gave us the proper directions! ^^ they have a Blue Label in Japan n only Japan... its so much cheaper. even i can easily buy Burberry Blue Label =)) but nahs~ i felt that these kinda brands r still way too old for me.. in the sense that to own these kinda branded stuffs... u really need to be like... TA-DA~ rich?! hahaha! n i m still young =) i wanna STAY YOUNG! so no~ =) they got a few stuffs from there~ but thats abt it for ginza! too much brands > < yuCK~ hahaha my y.sis was so worried she wouldnt get the chance to spend! so ya... ermM we wanted to find starbucks to sit n rest for a while... but it was FULL again~ > < so we went to Harajuku next! <3
